The SEI Project – Support for Italy’s Exports – was launched in 2018, promoted by Unioncamere and the Italian Chamber System, with the support of Promos Italia, with the aim of contributing to the growth of Italian exports by focusing on businesses that are potentially or occasionally exporters. The project’s ambition is to increase the number of Italian exporting companies and strengthen the export shares of companies that are already exporting.

For this reason, through an integrated program of training, guidance, and support, the SEI Project is committed to providing businesses with the necessary tools to start or consolidate their presence in foreign markets.

Now in its fifth edition, the Project has already supported more than 11,000 Italian businesses, offering over 58,000 services to prepare them for export and training more than 9,000 companies on internationalization topics.

Thanks to the SEI Project, the Chambers of Commerce continue to stand by businesses that wish to grow beyond borders, providing concrete support to successfully face the challenges of global markets.
